I met them,
Unrecoganizable faces,unfamiliar voices
Unknown people
We sat down
Talked,
Exchanging words,
Some sweet,some sour,
Sharing experiences
Our sorrows and griefs,
Frowning,smiling
Enjoying,each others company
Chatting,gossiping,
Forgetting,
That a moment ago,
We were nothing but strangers
And we would be the same again,
After a wink of time.
Soon,
the various faces would get faint and distorted
They would be forgotten,
Slowly,
The voices would be erased from my mind,
Gradually
But the appealing ones would be treasured.
As beautiful memories,
And such sudden acquintances
Bound to be forgotten,
Would continue adding freshness and fragrance to my life.
Making it what it is supposed to be
A voyage,
Full of endless surprises!!!
